The History of Tomatillos

For over 25 years, Tomatillos has been a cherished part of San Antonio’s culinary scene, originally opening its doors on Broadway in the heart of the city. Nestled among historic landmarks and vibrant murals, the restaurant quickly became a favorite, offering authentic Tex-Mex cuisine and capturing the festive spirit of San Antonio’s culture. In 2021, Tomatillos began a new chapter, relocating from Broadway to 1604 and now to its latest home near City Base.
